The Hobart College cross country team finished 29th out of 43 teams at the ECAC Championships which took place at Mount Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown, Mass., today. First-year
Patrick Hatheway led the Statesmen across the finish line.
Hatheway finished 101st out of 287 runners. He completed the 8-kilometer course in 29:04.54. Hatheway has led the Statesmen in every race this fall. Sophomore
Ian Hatch was next with a time of 30:22.85 for 157th place. Sophomore
Max Feldman placed 176th in 30:50.06. First-year
Jeff Rizza posted a time of 31:05.00 for 184th, and sophomore
Austin Corbett rounded out Hobart's top five. He clocked a time of 31:13.12 for 186th place.
Sam Haney of Tufts captured the individual title with a time of 26:22.86. Amherst earned the team title with 44 points. Bates took second with 54 team points, and Williams claimed third with 84 points.
The Statesmen will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 10, when they run in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship in Rochester, N.Y. The men's race is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
