Five members of the Hobart College squash team were recognized by the Statesmen Athletic Association and the Hobart Athletics Department at the annual Block H Awards Dinner on April 27. Junior
Danny Cabrera received the Dr. Frank P. Smith '36 Award for leadership.

Krittapat Pranich was presented with the Most Improved Player Award and senior
McGee O'Neil earned the R. Chapin Siebert '75 Memorial Squash Trophy Award. First-years
Jack Shannon and
Divine Wing shared the Rookie Award for Squash.

A co-captain, Cabrera played in 20 matches this season, competing at Nos. 5-8. He ranked second on the team with nine wins, including four at the No. 8 spot. Cabrera was 1-0 at No. 5 and 2-2 at both No. 6 and No. 7. He earned a spot on the 2014-15 Liberty League All-Academic team.

Pranich represented the Statesmen in 14 matches this winter. He was tabbed the Liberty League Performer of the Week once after posting a 3-1 record in matches against Navy, Stanford, Virginia and George Washington. Pranich won the lone match he played at the No. 5 spot. He added a win at No. 8 and two victories at No. 9.

O'Neil played in seven matches, logging a 4-3 record and battling an injury throughout the season. He went 1-0 at No. 7 and posted a 3-2 mark at the No. 9 spot. A four-year member of the squash team, O'Neil logged 33 career victories at Hobart.

Shannon played in 20 matches this year. He registered an 11-9 overall record, sharing a team-high in victories. Shannon was 1-0 at No. 3 and No. 7. He posted a 2-4 mark at No. 4, a 4-3 record at No. 5 and went 3-2 at No. 6.

Wing also competed in 20 matches this year. He also notched an 11-9 overall record. Wing was selected the Liberty League Performer of the Week once and tabbed the conference's Rookie of the Week once. He played at Nos. 3-7 during the year. Wing went 1-1 at No. 3 and at No. 7. Wing notched a 5-2 mark at No. 4 and went 2-1 at No. 5. He also logged a 2-4 record at the No. 6 spot.

Hobart finished the season with an 11-11 overall record and a 2-2 mark in Liberty League play. The Statesmen closed out the season competing in the Summers Cup at the 2015 College Squash Association Team National Championships.
