Aliceann Wilber is the head coach of the William Smith soccer team. The only coach in the 22-year history of the program, she led the Herons to the College’s first National Championship in 1988. A three-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Coach of the Year and a six-time NSCAA Regional Coach of the Year, she has led the Herons to 17 consecutive winning seasons, and a record-breaking 15 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including 10 trips to the quarterfinals, four semifinals, and three championship games.
Wilber, the only woman to coach a soccer team to an NCAA Division III Championship, has mentored 14 first-team All-Americans, while compiling a record of 287-91-25 (.743).
