Hobart and William Smith Colleges Athletics

Dr. Augustus H. Hillman '30 was captain of the Hobart cross-country team and was named to the All-Eastern Intercollegiate team. During his career, he broke course records at Colgate, Hamilton, Alfred, Syracuse, and Hobart. Also an outstanding student, "Gus" was a member of the first graduating class from the University of Rochester Medical School in 1929. He was president of the Hobart College Alumni Association from 1957-59 and a member of the Alumni Council for seven years.
