Cindy Dash ’91 posted an impressive 130-38 (.774) career record, including a 79-15 (.840) mark in singles competition. She won the top flight at the State Tournament an unprecedented four years in a row, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament each year. The 1987-88 Stephanie Christie Award winner, she was ranked ninth in the nation and received All-American honors a year later. A two-time winner of the Hazel Nettleship Hardy Award, Dash won three ICAC titles (two doubles, one singles). As a junior, she was named the NYSWCAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She was named the Bergen County Athlete of the Decade (1980s) for girl’s tennis.
