Hobart and William Smith Colleges Athletics

Richard W. Morris, Jr. '47 was a two-sport athlete, earning three letters in both football and lacrosse. Morris was a charter member and past president of the Statesmen Athletic Association. Active in several school function, Morris was president of the Hobart Alumni Association from 1969 through 1971. He received the Alumni Citation in 1972 and received the Statesmen Athletic Association's Annual Award in 1989 for outstanding service to Hobart College Athletics.
