Moultrhop sailed in the singlehanded C Division at the Truxtun Umsted, leading HWS to a second-place finish in the 19-team regatta. He finished second in his division, winning a pair of races and placing in the top five in all but three of the weekend's 19 races. Moulthrop was just 19 points behind the division winner and 40 points ahead of the third place boat.
