The Statesmen Athletic Association established the Hobart Athletics Hall of Fame to recognize outstanding Hobart athletes, coaches, administrators, and friends who enhance the proud and rich tradition of Hobart athletics. Since welcoming its inaugural class in 1986, the Hobart Athletics Hall of Fame has enshrined 135 great names in Hobart sports.

The Class of 2023, the 22nd and most recent class of inductees, recognized 10 outstanding Hobart greats, representing the baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, and hockey programs.
The Hall is located on the second floor of
Bristol Gymnasium in the Hobart College Hall of Fame and Trophy Lobby. Displayed there is an artist's portrait or a photograph of each inductee. The space has been renovated twice since the Hall of Fame was founded, both projects were made possible by the estate of the late Betsy Kline Stiles '45.
NOMINATIONS
The Hobart Athletics Hall of Fame welcomes nominations for future inductions. The Hall of Fame Committee seeks persons who have made outstanding contributions to athletics at Hobart, including athletes, coaches, staff, and supporters of the College's athletics programs. Athletes must be five years removed from collegiate competition.
Those making nominations are asked to forward any available information in support of the nominee; this might include letters, clippings, photographs, reference books, or magazines, or any other document that might be helpful to the committee in its research and deliberations. Materials will be returned upon request.
