Swagler was the stroke for the Hobart varsity eight, leading the Statesmen to head-to-head wins over Ithaca and RIT last weekend. Hobart claimed the Statesman Trophy for the first time since 2007 with a 3.7 second victory over the Bombers on Saturday and followed that up with a nearly 9-second victory over the Tigers on Sunday.
