Nettl was the stroke for Hobart's third varsity eight in the Knecht Cup this weekend. Competing in the men’s varsity eight, Division II/III event against other school's first varsity eights, Nettl and his teammates covered the 2-kilometer course in 6:27.85 to win the bronze medal. Liberty League rival Vassar was more than 7 seconds behind the Statesmen in fourth place.
