Carlson finished third at the 36-hole Empire 8 Invitational, tying a team record in the process. At he par 71 Blue Heron Hills Golf Course, she fired an 81 in the opening round, tying Nickie Calandra's program record for the lowest 18-hole score. Carlson closed out the weekend with an 88, seven just strokes off the lead.
