In Hobart's 41-35 win over Union, Strang threw for 405 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 93 yards, including the game-winning touchdown in the second overtime. In his first collegiate start, he established new season-highs for a Liberty League player in TD responsibility (6), total offense yards (498), passing yards, and passing touchdowns. Strang broke the Hobart game records for total offense yards and total offense yards per play (12.4) and tied the mark for TD passes. His 405 yards passing rank third on the Hobart single game list and are the most by a Statesman since Nov. 5, 2005.
