Capstraw won the William Smith Golf Invitational, leading the Herons to their first team title as a varsity program. In third place four strokes off the pace following Saturday's first round, Capstraw carded a tournament-low 86 on Sunday to earn her first collegiate victory by a single stroke over the runner-up from Division II Le Moyne.
