While all Statesmen teams were off during finals week, Woodard made headlines nonetheless, garnering honorable mention All-American honors from D3football.com. The four-time unanimous selection to the All-Liberty League first team produced 31 tackles, a career-high 10 pass break ups, and a team-high four interceptions in eight games this season. Woodard is the 11th Statesmen named a D3football.com All-American.
