Hobart and William Smith Colleges Athletics

The Hobart tennis team's top singles player, Grant went undefeated during spring break in Hilton Head, S.C. Against St. Thomas, Centre, and Carelton, he won in straight sets. Grant faced his toughest competition of the week against St. Olaf, outlasting John Wight, who won the first set 7-4 in the tie-breaker. Grant fought back to win the second set 6-2 and the super tie-breaker 10-4. In doubles play, Grant teamed up with Michael Fields to post a 2-2 record at No. 1, earning victories over the Tommies and Colonels.
