Hobart and William Smith Colleges Athletics

Representing the entire Hobart second varsity eight, Troy sat in stroke seat won its third consecutive New York State Championship on Saturday. The Statesmen produced an open-water victory over second palce Hamilton. Hobart's 2,000-meter time of 6:21.2 was 13.52 seconds faster than the Continentals. In addition to earning a gold medal, Jessica Dinan, Troy, Nathaniel Shils, Reid Johnson, Morgan Robinson, Tyler Wilson-Menting, Michael Copacino, Michael Cichelli, and Chris DePaola helped Hobart and William Smith to the overall points championship for the first time ever.
