Worthington had two interceptions and a sack as the Hobart football team posted a 35-7 win at Rensselaer. His first interception, in the second quarter, allowed the Statesmen to drive 56-yards and score a touchdown 33 seconds before halftime to carry a 21-0 lead into the break. In the third quarter, Worthington's sack pushed a promising RPI drive back across midfield (12-yard loss). His second pick set up Hobart's final scoring drive that gave the visitors a 35-0 lead.
