Cappello recorded a team-high nine points in a 3-0 week for the undefeated Herons. On Tuesday, she scored both William Smith goals in a 2-1 overtime win against No. 15 Cortland. On Saturday, Cappello notched a goal and an assist in a wild 5-4 win over Manhattanville. On Sunday, she recorded a goal as William Smith beat Lebanon Valley 5-0. Cappello leads the Herons with six goals and 16 points this season. She is three points shy of becoming the 13th William Smith player to record 100 career points. Cappello was also named the Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week.
