One year removed from a knee injury that robbed her of her sophomore seasons, Longo was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the NCAA Championship. She scored the lone goal in the Herons' 1-0 semifinal win over Capital University and added an insurance goal as William Smith claimed its second NCAA National Championship with a 2-0 victory over previously unbeaten Trinity (Texas) University. Longo finished the season second on the team in goals (8) and third in points (19).
