On Friday at Cortland, she tied the Heron record for 3FGM in a game, canning nine against a Red Dragon defense that entered the contest 87th out of 426 teams in Division III in 3-point field goal defense (.247). Borenstein scored a career-high 27 points in the 81-63 win over Cortland (6-3). On Sunday, she produced 11 points and three boards in a 74-69 win over Rochester (5-5), the Herons' first over the Yellowjackets since 2000. Borenstein has made at least one 3-pointer in 25 consecutive games and needs 21 3FGM to break the school's career record. During the week, she shot .632 from the floor, .625 from beyond the arc, and was perfect from the free throw line.
