Wood made a splash in her collegiate debut, recording a game-high five points, leading William Smith field hockey to a 7-0 win over Oswego State to open the season. She had a hand in three consecutive goals for the Herons, setting up Madison Finn with 10:16 run off the clock. Wood followed her helper with back-to-back goals to give William Smith a 5-0 lead.
