Senior Eric Mills shot his two best rounds of the fall season at the Liberty League Qualifier Tournament over the weekend, nearly qualifying for the spring's Liberty League Championship. He shot a 79 in the first round at the par 72 Ravenwood Golf Course and closed with a 77, the best 18-hole score by a Statesman this season. His two-round 156 left him tied for the fourth and final individual bid into April's championship tournament. Unfortunately, Mills' opponent won the spot on the first sudden-death playoff hole.
