The coxswain of the rowing team's varsity eight, Tuvell guided the seventh-ranked Herons to a dominating win at No. 15 Rochester. William Smith finished more than 20 seconds ahead of the Yellowjackets and more than 27 seconds ahead of St. Lawrence. "Suzie's tactical approach to the race course gave her boat incredible advantages from the outside lane where most teams only see disadvantages," Head Coach Sandra Chu said. "She had a calm head that called the right technical changes at the right time while also ensuring that her boat never got comfortable with their position."
