Penn State entered Saturday’s game with Hobart ranked fifth in the nation in faceoff winning percentage, but Doldo didn’t seem to notice. He won 11 of the 15 restarts he took against the Nittany Lions, a .733 success rate. PSU had been successful on 60 percent of its faceoffs prior to squaring off with the Statesmen. Doldo also had two ground balls.
