Westerman helped anchor the Heron defense that earned two more shutout victories this weekend. William Smith has logged six straight victories, all by shutout. The Herons have earned a total of seven shutouts this fall. Westerman and the William Smith defense limited RPI to just five shots, only one on goal, and held Skidmore to three shots, none on goal. William Smith ranks second in the Liberty League with just three goals allowed this season and a 0.33 goals against average.
