Salmon posted a .955 save percentage, stopping 84 of the 88 shots she faced in a 2-0-0 week for the Herons. In Friday’s 4-2 victory over the Beacons, she turned aside 37 shots, including 14 in the third period. On Saturday, she stopped 47 shots to collect her second straight win. Salmon’s two wins are one more than she had last year and she has won three straight games dating back to last year’s 4-0 win over Cortland. She was recognized for her efforts on the ECAC West Honor Roll.
