Sweeney completed 75 percent of his passes for a season-high 305 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-14 win at Union. His TD passes covered 81, 48, 10, and 41 yards. His 269.1 pass efficiency rating is the highest single game effort by a Statesman on record.
