Shue scored the golden goal that propelled the William Smith soccer team into the NCAA quarterfinal round. The Herons played visiting Brandeis to a scoreless draw through regulation, but 2:26 into the overtime, the Fairport native roofed a shot from the penalty spot to beat the Judges. It was her eighth goal and fourth game-winning goal of the season.
