Crane, with crew Kaitlyn Van Nostrand, won the A Division of the 2009 Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association Women’s Championship to lead William Smith to a second place finish in the 11-team regatta and a berth in the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association Women’s National Championship. Crane won five of the weekend’s 11 races and placed in the top three eight times.
