Sanders recorded a game-high 14 tackles to lead the Statesmen to a 20-17 upset of previously undefeated, 17th-ranked Rensselaer on Saturday. He counted half a sack and a fumble recovery among his accomplishments as well. Sanders and the rest of the Hobart defense held the Liberty League's top scoring offense 15.3 points below its season average.
