O'Connell notched his first collegiate goal, 53 seconds into the second overtime period to secure a 1-0 win at Bard for Hobart. He helped the Statesmen improve to 4-0-3 in overtime this season. Hobart is now 4-1-1 in conference play and 7-4-3 overall this season.
