Atwater was 2-0 at No. 1 singles for the Statesmen last week. On Wednesday, he defeated the Redhawks' Hugo Ball-Greene 6-4, 7-5. Ball-Greene was the Oracle/ITA D-II East Region's eighth-ranked singles player. Against the Continentals on Saturday, Atwater edged Max McKee-Proctor 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. It gave Hobart a 3-2 lead in the match at the time. Atwater is a team-best 12-4 in singles play this year with a 4-2 mark in the No. 1 singles spot.
