Carter served as skipper for the Herons in A Division at the MAISA Women's Championship this weekend. Along with Sarah Warren, she finished second in A Division with 58 points. Carter and Warren finished in the top five in all but two races, winning three. As a team, William Smith finished in fourth place, qualifying for the Sperry College Sailing Women's National Championships May 23-26.
