Moran played a key role in the Herons defensive line that limited its opponents to just two goals and 15 shots in a 3-0 week on McCooey Field. On Saturday, Manhattanville was only able to manage three shots. Nazareth and Lebanon Valley mustered just six shots against a stifling William Smith defense. Through seven games Moran and the Heron defense are limiting opponents to 6.9 shots per game. She also contributed on the offensive end of the field this week with a goal and four assists. Moran had two assists on Tuesday and a goal and an assist against the Dutchmen on Sunday.
