Atwater was 3-0 in singles matches on the week. Against the Yellowjackets, he rallied to defeat Yifan Shen 4-6, 7-5, 10-3 at No. 3. Two days later, Atwater cruised to a 6-2, 6-4 win over union's Austin Egna at No. 2. Atwater concluded his week with a 7-5, 6-2 win over the Violet's Stefan Rodic in the third spot. The win clinched the overall victory for the Statesmen. Atwater has won his last four matches and is 15-5 in singles play this season. He is 8-2 at No. 3 this season.
