Benyo was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District 3 At-Large team selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Benyo graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology. The Dean's List student is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a three-time Liberty League All-Academic pick. She was a Blackwell Scholar, a Seeley Performing Arts Scholar, and a Reeves Arts Scholar. Benyo was the recipient of the 2018 Cynthia Oyler '93 Award, which is presented to an outstanding William Smith senior student-athlete with an excellent academic record who plans to continue her education at the postgraduate level. She will attend Penn State College of Medicine in the fall.
 
On the lacrosse field, Benyo played in all 20 games this season, recording 30 goals and eight assists for 38 points. She also logged 20 ground balls and five caused turnovers.
