A record-breaking season opener earned Holden the NEC Player of the Week award as well as a spot on the USILA Division I National Team of the Week. In Saturday's 21-12 win over Canisius, he scored seven goals, more in a single game than any Division I Statesman. Holden scored twice in each of the first three quarters to tie the previous record and broke the mark just 29 seconds into the fourth quarter. He also posted a pair of assists for a game-high nine points.
