Shaw had an assist in Hobart's 4-0 win over UMass Boston in a NEHC semifinal contest on Saturday. He set up Dan Sliney's third period goal. Shaw was a key part of the Statesmen defense that limited a potent Beacon offense to just 27 shots on goal. UMass Boston came into the game averaging 3.81 goals per game and were held without a goal for just the third time this season.
