Abdelhafez represented Hobart at the College Squash Association Individual Championships in Providence, R.I., this past weekend. Competing in the Molloy Cup East draw, he reached the consolation finals. Abdelhafez opened the tournament on Friday against Williams' John Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald emerged with a 6-11, 11-9, 11-6, 11-2 win. Abdelhafez notched his first win of the weekend on Friday evening, besting Brown's Philip Demeulenaere 11-4, 11-6, 16-14 to earn a spot in the consolation semifinals. On Satudrday, Abdelhafez defeated Amherst's Mohammad Harith Khawaja 13-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-8. In the consolation final, Abdelhafez was bested by Trinity's Will Curtis 11-9, 11-9, 11-7.
