Montgomery recorded her first two collegiate goals, had a career-high eight draw controls, and scooped up four ground balls in the Herons' season-opening 14-11 win over Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday afternoon. Her first goal ended a three-goal run by the Tigers. She added a second goal with 3:30 remaining in regulation to seal the victory for William Smith. Montgomery's eight draws are the second most in a single-game. Emy Stratton had nine against Babson on March 20, 2014.
