Hofmann improved to 8-0 on the season with a pair of victories last week. She had a 3.00 goals against average and a .793 save percentage. On Wednesday, she made a career-high 17 saves as William Smith defeated Hamilton in Clinton, N.Y. Hofmann's 17 saves were the most by a Heron since Sarah Honan '17 made 17 saves against Clarkson on April 17, 2015. Hofmann followed Wednesday's performance with a shutout of Rochester. She made six saves as she became the first Heron goalie to record a shutout in a game since April 13, 1991, when Courtney Hutchinson '92 and William Smith topped Union 20-0. The Herons defeated Bard 18-0 on March 16, but Hofmann and Jules Kennedy each played 30 minutes in goal.
