Tyson led Hobart with four goals in a 1-0-1 week in NEHC play. On Friday night he scored a pair of second period goals in a 4-4 tie with Suffolk. Tyson's second goal of the game came on the power play. The next day against Johnson & Wales. Tyson made it a 2-0 game with just over two minutes remaining in the first period and added an insurance goal at the 18:01 mark of the third period. The Statesmen beat the Wildcats 10-3.
