Abdelhafez went 3-1 in the No. 3 spot this weekend at the Liberty League Championship, helping the Statesmen finish second in the tournament. On Saturday, he defeated St. Lawrence's Aran Thawani 11-3, 11-7, 11-9, helping the No. 35 Statesmen defeat the No. 26 Saints 6-3. Abdelhafez also defeated Vassar's Henry Mitchell 11-3, 11-2, 11-8, leading Hobart past the No. 47 Brewers 9-0. On Sunday,  Abdelhafez downed Bard's Noah Gichan 11-5, 11-3, 11-7. The Statesmen defeated the No. 40 Raptors 8-1.
