Weston was named the head coach of the William Smith golf team in July 2020. He also is the head coach of the Heron swimming & diving team.
An avid golfer, Weston is a member at Clifton Springs Country Club, William Smith's home course. He was a member of the varsity golf teams at Nazareth College and Midlakes High School. The Phelps native was named the Screaming Eagles' co-MVP following his senior season.

Weston's coaching resume includes 15 seasons in collegiate swimming and diving. The 2020-21 season will be his second at the helm of the William Smith swimming and diving team. Before joining the Herons' coaching staff, Weston was the head swimming coach at Alfred State for five seasons. He previously served as an assistant coach at Binghamton and led the program at Milligan College in Tennessee.

Through the years, Weston has mentored swimmers and divers that have competed in national championships, won conference championships and eclipsed more than 100 school records. His teams have also excelled in the classroom, earning 10 Scholar All-American Team Awards from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America.
