Terry Muffley

Terry Muffley is entering his 10th season as a volunteer assistant coach for the lacrosse team. He works primarily with the faceoff specialists.

Muffley has mentored four of the top five faceoff men in Hobart's Division I history, including All-American Bobby Dattilo who ranked second in the nation in 2012 in both faceoff winning percentage and ground balls per game.

A former defensive line coach for the Statesmen as well, Muffley guided the development of 19 all-conference linemen.

For more than two decades prior to joining the Hobart coaching staff, Muffley was a fixture on the Geneva High School sidelines, assisting the Panthers’ football team to two league titles and the lacrosse team to three Section V crowns.

Muffley earned a bachelor’s degree from East Stroudsburg University.

A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps with service in Vietnam, Muffley lives in Geneva with his wife, Cindy. They have two grown children, Patrick and Bess.
