  • Team's Most Valuable Swimmer all four years (1978-79, 79-80, 81-82, and 82-83).
  • First William Smith athlete to compete at the national level when she qualified for two events at the AIAW National Championship meet 1980-81.
  • Qualified for five events at the AIAW National Championship meet in 1981-82.
  • Earned All-American honors in three events at the 1981-82 AIAW championships in the 500 freestyle; 200 breaststroke; and the 1650 freestyle.
  • At the 1981-82 New York State Championships she won three events and set four school and three meet records.
  • Named Most Valuable Swimmer at the 1980-81 state meet.
  • Received 1982 Marion Harrison Green Award at the William Smith Athletic Association Awards banquet representing William Smith's outstanding senior athlete.
  • Upon graduation she held nine school records, including the 200, 500, 1000, and 1650 freestyles as well as the 200 and 400 individual medleys, the 200 backstroke, and 200 breaststroke.
  • Member of the Steering Committee which formed the Heron Society.
  • Received the Joseph N. Abraham Award in 1980-81.
  • Received Hazel Nettleship Hardy Award in 1980-81.
