Hobart and William Smith Colleges Athletics

Robert W. Hynes '34 was a four-year letterwinner in basketball who served as team captain for the 1933-34 season. He was named to the All-Western New York Basketball Team by the Buffalo News Service. Three teams also named Hynes to their All-Opponent team including St. Lawrence, Hamilton, and Buffalo. He was a member of the Chimera honor society while at Hobart. He won the Statesmen Athletic Association Annual Award in 1989 for his contributions to Hobart Athletics. He is also a member of the Alumni Association.
