CANTON, N.Y. -- Senior Cheryl Wallace (G. Ray Bodley/Fulton, N.Y.) and first-year Kristin Perrigo (Liverpool/Liverpool, N.Y.) both had one goal and one assist to lead the William Smith College soccer team to a 2-0 victory at St. Lawrence University. The Herons won their 11th consecutive game, and improved to 12-2-0, 5-0-0 in the UCAA.

Wallace scored in the 11th minute off a Perrigo pass to give sophomore goalkeeper Leah Cornwell (Wheatland-Chili/Scottsville, N.Y.) all the offensive support she needed. Cornwell finished with four saves and recorded her sixth shutout of the season for the Herons. Perrigo booted home an insurance score from Wallace in the 50th minute.

William Smith, ranked No. 6 in the nation, takes on host Clarkson tomorrow at 1 p.m.
