CLINTON, N.Y. -- Senior Pete Bellard (Garden City, N.Y.) netted a goal in the 72nd minute to lift host Hamilton College to a 1-0 victory over the Hobart College soccer team on Wednesday. The Statesmen, who managed just two shots on goal, fell to 7-7-0, 3-3-0 in the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association.

Despite the loss, first-year goalkeeper Cory Rosier (Liverpool/Liverpool, N.Y.) continued his stellar play with seven saves.

Hobart returns to action on Sat., Oct. 23 for a 2 p.m. home match against Alfred University.
