Lock Haven downs Herons, 4-2

LOCK HAVEN, PA. -- The Lock Haven University field hockey team scored the game's initial four goals en route to a 4-2 victory over William Smith College on Saturday afternoon. The Bald Eagles, ranked fourth in NCAA Division II, improved to 15-4. William Smith suffered their third straight defeat and fell to 10-6.

In the Herons' regular season finale, sophomore Nicole Livingston (Whitney Point/Whitney Point, N.Y.) scored her team-leading 12th goal of the season, and sophomore Jackie Hall (Berkshire School/Newport, R.I.) fired home her ninth goal.

In the cage, sophomore Marjorie MacVean (Johnstown/Johnstown, N.Y.) made five saves for the Herons, while Tara Beach made three stops for the Bald Eagles.
